Phi Lemon is the creative persona of Swiss musician David Zurbuchen, known for his dynamic roles as a drummer, guitarist, and singer in Switzerland’s jam band scene. After years of ripping it up with bands like Ginger, Marblewood, Utopia in Space, We Believe In Hyperspace, AoxoToxoA, Wua Wua, and others, he began writing and recording his own songs under the name Phi Lemon.

Influenced by the raw energy of 1960s garage rock, an EP of groovy psychedelic songs was born in spring ’25.

After that, he wrote several stoner/doom-influenced songs for guitar and drums and took those vibes on an underground club tour in Japan in summer ’25 together with longtime friend, drummer and collaborator Andreas Rösch. At the moment, Phi Lemon is experimenting with new ideas in his creative space in Winterthur.
